Can no one look Tiger in the eye? Even when he's missing fairways and playing so-so?

Actually, Cink can. Furyk can. They did great today. Yeah, they were one or two shots off ... who isn't against Tiger ... but they played with guts and smiles. I love the smiles.

Are you old enough to think back? Jack had competition. Watson. Trevino. Player. MANY other golfers would pop up to win, which is why Jack holds the record for coming in 2nd, right?

I wish Cink or Phil or Els or Goosen or SOMEONE would step up ON SUNDAY to create some drama. Cink did it today...sort of...although Woods came back to him two strokes...still, it wasn't bad. Still...Cink will probably never do it again.

Tiger has elevated the game beyond the "phenom" level. No longer is it good enough to be young, talented, and lucky. You have to have your head together late on Sunday. No, you don't need maturity...that's over too. You need guts and confidence. And, you need the shots.

I never root against Tiger. However, I would have loved it if Cink pulled a shot out of his butt and beat him. Maybe next time.
